The incident started as two men were making a video in front of the Houston Walmart using a cell phone, when they were approached by the police officer patrolling in front of the store who told them to stop filming. he asked them for their ID and seconds later grabbed one of the men and pulled out a taser gun with the intention to stun him.

The argument continued as the cop tried to confiscate the cell phone, but one of the men put it back into his pocket and left it recording, so the conversation was caught on tape. the officer threatened them with arrest and even tried to call a unit for backup, while the two were explaining they did nothing wrong.

Apparently the incident ended with two men being handcuffed and about to be driven to the station when another cop came to the rescue and set them free. the cop caught on tape threatened with jail again and tried to bribe the men to erase the video, but fortunately didn’t succeed in his attempt.

A 15-year-old Idalia Morgutia-Johnson is preparing a lawsuit against Fresno Police after a cell phone video clip proved her innocent of charges for trespassing, resisting arrest and battery on an officer and showed she was the real victim who was manhandled and arrested for no reason.

Idalia was hanging out with friends in front of Big Mama’s Grill just across the street from the Hoover High School where her school day was over, when she was approached by two police officers who accused her of loitering. Although she tried to explain she was waiting on an order she placed at the grill, they didn’t listen and one of the cops twisted her arm and threw her on the table she was seated at. one of Idalia’s friends started shooting the incident with his cell phone a few minutes later, and caught her getting slammed on the ground, picked up and hauled to the patrol car. You can see Idalia kicking her feet in the air trying to breathe as the officer holding her is choking her, which was interpreted as battery on an officer.

She was arrested and charged which nearly got her expelled from high school. Thanks to this piece of evidence, all charges were dropped and Idalia now has proof she can base her lawsuit on. one thing they can’t make up to her is the constant back pain she’s been experiencing since the arrest that the doctors say will never go away, which prevents the former freshmen basketball captain from enjoying her favorite sport.

Independent Autopsy Shows Man Died From Police Brutality

After months of no progress in the investigation of the death of 45-year-old Darrin Hanna, his relatives conducted an independent autopsy which brings new evidence that his death was a direct result of beating by North Chicago cops.

Darrin Hanna succumbed to injuries after getting beaten by six police officers who came in response to a domestic dispute 911 call. They beat the man and shocked him with a stun gun repeatedly for 20 minutes, even though he didn’t resist arrest.

Attorney Kevin O’Connor says that the autopsy undoubtedly proves that Hanna’s death was caused by severe beating. some of the numerous injuries listed in the detailed report include multiple internal contusions and acute spleen damage. it is also most likely that the beating triggered sickle cell disease in Hanna’s body. “It’s commonly known that sickle cell can be brought on by trauma. And as result of that trauma he had multi-system organ failure and died, O’Connor said.

The state police said to the reporters, “the Hanna investigation should be wrapping up soon” while Hanna’s family and relatives believe that he would be still alive today if the North Chicago police officers had been properly disciplined for previous allegations of excessive force.

A police officer charged for a sexual misconduct with a minor girl was shot dead after an attempted arrest by his fellow officers. While he was operating on a DIU checkpoint around 1 a.m. on the territory of Santa Maria, CA, the officer got surrounded by his colleagues who were ordered to take immediate action.

After the case concerning a 17-year-old minor got supported with more incriminating evidence, the order came to arrest the accused officer immediately. Unfortunately, he put up a fight trying to resist the arrest, and at one point he took out his gun and fired once, but hit no one.

One of the police officers on the team responded with shooting him in the chest, which turned out to be a lethal shot.

The name of the killed police officer still can’t be revealed due to the sensitivity of the whole case, and Santa Maria police chief Danny Macagni was rather brief in his official statement. he pointed out that it was necessary to take such extreme measures against a fellow police officer, and that the incident could have been avoided if he hadn’t acted so impulsively at the time of the arrest.

The officer who fired the shot is currently under investigation about the whole case, Macagni stated.

Deputy Lets a Female Prisoner Escape in Exchange For Sex

Dale L. Tompkins, a 41-year-old former Sheriff’s Department deputy of Tuscola County, was sentenced to 185 days in jail for having sex with a female prisoner on the hood of his police cruiser. he accepted the prisoner’s offer to have sex with her in exchange for letting her go, which are felonies of accepting a bribe and voluntarily letting a prisoner escape punishable with up to 15 years in prison, so getting away with just 6 months behind bars was a pretty good deal for Tompkins.

The event occurred when the woman was arrested in Genessee County on account of a probation violation in Tuscola County, and was handed over to Tompkins to be transported to a jail in Caro. thanks to the bribe loving cop, she never made it there.

During the ride, the woman offered Tompkins to have sex with him if he lets her escape, and he agreed, receiving oral sex and having intercourse with her on the hood of the car. Tompkins kept his part of the deal and let the woman run away.

While his sentence seems pretty short for a crime of this sort, it’s comforting to know that after being a convicted felon Tompkins won’t be able to work as a police officer in Michigan ever again.

The reasons for a Santa Ana off-duty police officer engaging in a car chase and killing a young man are yet to be determined, says a Sheriff’s Department official, but he confirmed that the killed man was unarmed at the time he was shot.

According to the police officer whose name remains undisclosed, he was awaken around 6 a.m. by the noise outside of his house on Longworth Avenue.

He went outside and saw two men across the street trying to break into a parked vehicle, and he confronted them. one of the men ran away on foot while the other got in the car and drove away.

The police officer got in his personal vehicle and went after them. He found the 23-year-old Jason Richard Bitz, the one that ran away on foot, across the street from Rynerson Park.

The officer got out of the vehicle and told him to stop and raise his hands, but the man refused to do it and somehow got into the driver’s seat of the officer’s car.

He then allegedly reached for his waistband and was shot and killed on the spot.

Rita Gomez, a friend of the Bitz family, said that he was just helping change a tire, and was given the keys to the vehicle by the owner’s son. She added that Bitz was on parole, which was probably why he got scared and tried to run.

Police are still looking for the other suspect.

What started as a small town football game ended with tears and chaos when the police used pepper spray on both spectators and players.

It was a game between two long time rival schools, Uintah High and Union High, played in Duchesne County on the Union High Cougars’ home turf. The Cougars lost the game, and as the players were leaving the field, a group of Polynesian supporters tried to cheer them up by doing the Haka, a traditional war chant that is often performed at football games throughout the state.

While doing it, a group of about 15 men and boys had blocked the exit from the field, so the police ordered them to move. one eyewitness who identified herself just as Breana, said that two police officers were yelling “Make a hole! make a hole!” while the coaches and players assured them there was nothing to worry about, saying “It’s OK! Let them do it!” Instead of listening to them, the police started spraying everyone around, including the players and even little kids.

Breana said that her husband and 4-year old son were both exposed to spraying. other witness said his young son, daughter and mother-in-law were also pepper-sprayed. he confirmed that Haka didn’t pose a threat, and that the police overreacted.

Roosevelt police didn’t want to give any statements.
