West Bend police are looking for a man who committed an armed robbery at a PNC Bank just before noon Saturday.

Police say the man, who’s believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, walked into the bank at 2356 W. Washington St. at 11:56 a.m. the man handed the teller a note and implied he had a weapon, Lt. Richard Lucka said. the man appeared to leave on foot. It’s unknown if a vehicle was involved.

The man is described as 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet, 160 to 180 pounds and was unshaven. He was wearing an olive-green baseball cap, a gray long-sleeve shirt with blue letters on the front that appear to say “B.U.M. Equipment Varsity Football,” black pants and white tennis shoes.

Police identify victim of fatal shooting in Cudahy

A 19-year-old man shot to death at a house party in Cudahy was identified by police Monday as David Opalinski.

Two men were arrested in connection with the shooting, which was reported shortly before 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of E. Barnard Ave., police said.

Police said they will seek charges of first-degree intentional homicide and possession of a firearm by a felon against a 19-year-old man, and second-degree recklessly endangering safety against a 21-year-old man.

Both men were in the Milwaukee County jail Monday night.

Police identify man who was killed while in vehicle

A 22-year-old man shot to death on Milwaukee’s north side was identified by police Tuesday as Artaze T. Williams.

Williams was shot about 5:30 p.m. Friday while in a vehicle in the 2300 block of W. Vienna St.

Police said Saturday they were seeking a suspect in the shooting but since then have released no further information about the killing.

Milwaukee police are searching for a teenager who followed a person off a bus on the north side, threatened the person with a gun and stole a cellphone.

The incident occurred at 3:42 p.m. Jan. 10 at 4511 W. Hampton Ave., police said. the teen took the phone and fled on foot.

Police describe the teenager as black, 15 to 17 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5-10 and about 140 pounds, slim build, medium complexion, short hair and clean shaven. the teen was last seen wearing a sweat shirt, a long-sleeve pullover hooded sweat shirt with a front pouch and blue jeans.

Police seek bank robbery suspect

Police are looking for a man they say committed an armed robbery at a bank on Milwaukee’s east side last week.

The man approached the teller of the U.S. Bank at 2303 N. Farwell Ave. at 1:13 p.m. Jan. 5, according to Milwaukee police. the man implied that he had a weapon, passed a demand note, obtained money and fled.

The man is estimated to be between 24 and 34 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, medium build, medium complexion and with short hair. Police say he was wearing a black wool baseball-type cap, a black scarf with gray stripes, a black wool coat with gray horizontal stripes, dark trousers, dark sunglasses and dark gloves.

The man was last seen entering a four-door dark, full-size car.

Milwaukee police investigate shooting that left man injured

Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

A 25-year-old man was shot once in the lower extremities, according to a news release. Police are still investigating the circumstances and the location of the shooting. No further details were available.

Milwaukee police also made several arrests Tuesday in connection with a homicide Monday in the 8800 block of N. 95th.

No further details of the arrests were released Tuesday night.

Police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz said Harts was shot in alley near N. 53rd St. and W. Auer Ave. about 9:40 p.m.

She said the crime remains under investigation and appears to be drug related.

Milwaukee police investigate wounding of man, 26

Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred about 1:15 a.m. Sunday in the 4700 block of N. Hopkins St.

Police said a 26-year-old man was struck by gunfire during a quarrel that occurred outside of a tavern. the victim was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive.

No more information was released on the incident.
